Richard Souza was delivering pizzas like any other work day, but when he arrived at an apartment on Blair Mill Road in Horsham Monday afternoon, he noticed something was not right.
The pizza delivery was for Tim Mulligan, who called PECO about the issue after Souza noticed an odd smell. PECO game to assess the scene and noticed the carbon monoxide levels were high in the apartments from a possible heater issue in a vacant apartment.
Though no one was hurt, it could have been a scenario much worse.
One neighbor even suggested Souza get a raise for his efforts of being so observant.
