CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
One more thing, about Michael Jordan. You'd think now that he's 50 people would stop talking about him making a comeback.
Think again. His longtime trainer Tim Grover is reported to have a 50-page binder on a desk in his suburban Chicago home. It's filled with a program for M.J., incorporating extensive research on anti-aging advances and innovations in regenerating muscle fibers that Grover has gathered from trips all over the world.
Here's what Jordan said about another comeback tonight on NBA TV.
"That was in what? 2009. That was four years ago, so at 46, I may have been able to play by then. Since then, I'm going through a transition period. It's called time, age, weight, you know, I haven't picked up a ball. I joke, I kid around a lot. No, I'm not gonna come back at the age of 50, though my mind, my competitive mind is always gonna believe I can play the game of basketball right now."
Last month, Jordan took on 19-year-old number 2 draft pick Michael Kidd-Gilchrist in a game of one-one-one. Jordan won. I was thinking about that today when my 12-year-old-daughter beat me at "horse" in the driveway.
