PHOENIX -
A water main break has shut down a busy valley intersection during rush hour.
At 12th Street and Broadway, an 8-inch water line broke, causing a sinkhole to form in the street.
It's believed the water line broke due to its age, and crews are working to replace it.
Now there's a sinkhole in the middle of the street. There's no ETA on when it will be repaired.
The area is closed, but other than motorists, no businesses or homes are being affected by the break.
