Emanuel may trade city hall for White House: Report

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A web site is reporting Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel may want to trade city hall for the White House.

The Daily Beast claims Emanuel has talked to Democratic donors and fundraiser's about a possible run for president in 2016.

The web site says the mayor had several conversations with donors during President Obama's inauguration in Washington.

But the mayor has consistently denied he has any ambitions for president and one of his long-time political advisors tweeted a one-word rebuttal last night. It read, "nope."
