PAUL'S VALLEY, OK -

A postcard sent nearly half a century ago from Hereford, Pennsylvania finally made its way to its recipient in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma.

The postcard was mailed by Bert Jacobsen to his mom back in January of 1967.

Jacobsen was just 13 when he sent the card. He says he was with his father and cousins as they traveled to the east coast and midwest to buy concrete trucks and mixing equipment.

The address used on the postcard is the same one still used by the family's concrete business today.

When the postcard arrived, it still had its 1967 postmark, complete with a 4 cent Abraham Lincoln stamp.

It's still not clear why the card took so long to make it to its recipient.
