PHILADELPHIA -

Police in Philadelphia are looking for a man captured by a surveillance camera prying the door of a building open with a screwdriver and then stealing assorted power tools.

The burglary happened in University City on the 3800 block of Chestnut Street on January 26 around 5:30 a.m.

Police say the man is seen on surveillance video using a large screwdriver to pry open a door. The video shows the man walk in and then come out with power tools. The man would then take the power tools and place them into a parked car, police said.

Surveillance cameras capture the man entering the building several times to take more items.

Police describe the suspect as a black man, 6'0" to 6'2" tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket with distinctive patches on the left upper arm and sleeve, a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

Police say the man placed the items into a silver Volvo XC90.
