RIDGEFIELD, CT -
A movie director is scouting out a town near Newtown to shoot a movie about the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.
But many people living in Ridgefield, Connecticut are not happy with the plan.
"I think it is way too soon and way too inappropriate to be making a film about such a tragedy," said Ridgefield resident Cynthia Bell-Bucha.
"Personally, I think it's time for everybody to just back off and leave them alone. Let them heal," said Marcia Jones who also lives in the town.
With the town against the project, officials say permits will be very hard to secure.
