Metro warns riders to protect electronics as thefts rise

A warning to Metro riders from transit police - protect your electronics.

Thirty-one devices were snatched on the Metro system between January 13th and the 26th.

That's up from nineteen such thefts the first two weeks of the year.

Police say while the figures are down from the same time last year, they're urging riders to be pro-active and keep devices out of sight.
