Mystery solved.

Meteorologist Audrey Puente, a big fan of actor/comedian Fred Armisen, always wondered if his popular sketch about the character 'Felicito' was based on her legendary father percussionist Tito Puente.

Armisen, who appeared on GDNY on Tuesday, set the record straight.

"Felicito is your dad!" said Armisen

"I wondered," said Puente

"You wondered? It's him it's; Tito Puente."

"I've seen your dad perform a bunch of times. He is a huge influence on him. He would do these jokes at the beginning of the show and then end the show (with his head resting on his hands,)" said Armisen.
