NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Once dubbed the Freedom Tower, 1 World Trade Center is reportedly filled with offensive graffiti aimed at several races and religions.

The not yet completed 104-story building near the site of the 9/11 terror attacks in lower Manhattan is accessible to workers and management only.

According to the NY Daily News, the graffiti in the men's bathrooms include the N-word, sexist slurs and ethnic insults written on plywood.

The bathrooms are spaced every five floors.

Blurred out photos of the slurs were posted on the NY Daily News website on Monday.

It once was an accepted tactic as old as policing itself and, according to the NYPD, a key to the city's dramatic drop in crime: patrol officers stopping young men on the street to see if they're up to no good.
