Olympic champion Lenny Krayzelburg opens swim academy in Michigan

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -
The Jewish Community Center opened two Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy's in West Bloomfield and Oak Park on Sunday Jan. 27.
Krayzelburg swam in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics and was named the top backstroke swimmer in the world. He was also the USA Swimmer of the Year in 1999 and 2000. Krayzelburg's approach to teaching kids to be safe and inspire a love for the water started in 2005. He began the Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy to give children knowledge and confidence in and around the water.
