Snow started falling around 7 p.m. Sunday, followed by freezing rain that shifted to rain by late morning hours Monday.

DTE Energy says around 12,000 customers are without power due to the storm, including a large patch in Waterford.

Weather Authority Ben Bailey says temperatures will remain above freezing with light showers lingering throughout the early afternoon hours. High temperatures will reach 48 degrees.

Showers will develop overnight as lows remain mild at 41 degrees.

We'll see temperatures reach nearly 60 degrees Tuesday before average temps return for the rest of the week.
