Parole Board: Convicted Killer Robb Will Not Be Released From Prison

PHILADELPHIA -
The University of Pennsylvania professor convicted of killing his wife will not be released next week.
In fact, the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole has reversed its decision on Raphael Robb's parole.
Robb pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, in the fatal beating death of his wife, Ellen, back in December 2006. He was sentenced to between five and 10 years behind bars.
In November, the first time the former economics professor was up for parole, the probation and parole board decided that he could be released on parole as early as this Monday, due to good behavior and other reasons.
But the victim's brother, Gary Gregory, spoke up, and so did Montgomery County officials.
The trial judge wrote a letter to the parole board, calling it the most violent crime he had seen.
And the local district attorney and state representatives argued alongside Gregory that the parole board neglected to consider testimony from the victim's family.
The parole board wound up granting Gregory a hearing on Tuesday.
On Wednesday morning, Gregory joined "Good Day" to discuss that hearing. You can watch the entire interview in the video clip above this story.

It becomes very unsettled across our area with clounds and showers again Sunday. The best chance for rain is in the morning and afternoon thunderstorms are possible towards our south.
Sunday is cool but we do warm up well into the 80s by Tuesday. With the warm weather comes a better chance for thunderstorms.
