A valley jeweler is looking for couples to join a massive wedding vow renewal ceremony that will hopefully be one for the books- the Guinness Book of World Records that is.
On Valentine's Day, Sami Fine Jewelry is taking over Fountain Hills Park for Sami's "Love in the Hills" event.
The current record holder is "Miami Merger Moment", held on June 20th 2009 and renewed the vows of 1087 couples.
Stephenie Bjorkman, owner of Sami Fine Jewelry, is working with local businesses and the town of Fountain Hills to put together the event.
Bjorkman already has the location, Fountain Hills Park, donated by the city and named one of the most beautiful wedding locations in Arizona.
The event is completely free for couples who participate. If you are interested in joining the record-breaking attempt, prior registration is required.
Registration starts at 4 p.m. the day of the event. All couples will get a commemorative certificate of participation from Larry James, a coupon for a complimentary ring cleaning from Sami Fine Jewelry, a Family Relationship Profile form John Hershey International and a goody bag from participating businesses.
All attendees will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a new set of wedding rings from Sami Fine Jewelry, a three Night Honeymoon Stay at the Radisson at Fort McDowell, a portrait session from Sara Goodnick Photography, a huge floral arrangement from Nonny's, a relationship coach certificate from Larry James along with a signed copy of his book "How to Really Love the One You're With" and many other gifts from local businesses.
