Soldiers From 117th CSSB Return Home From Afghanistan

WEST TRENTON, N.J. -
Members of the 117th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion returned home to West Trenton Sunday after a year-long deployment in Afghanistan.
The soldier's were part of a wide variety of sustainment operations for all U.S. Coalition Forces in Regional Command-South in Afghanistan, the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs said.
Among their responsibilities, the group served as battalion headquarters for active, reserve and National Guard formations and transported sustainment packages to more than 45 bases and combat outposts traversing more than 2 million miles of what the military describes as the "most dangerous terrain in the world."
The soldiers returned to the National Guard armory and flight facility in West Trenton Sunday around 11 a.m.

Rain moved in Saturday afternoon and the chance for it will stick around through the seven day forecast.
It becomes very unsettled across our area with clounds and showers again Sunday. The best chance for rain is in the morning and afternoon thunderstorms are possible towards our south.
Sunday is cool but we do warm up well into the 80s by Tuesday. With the warm weather comes a better chance for thunderstorms.
