This week, we're featuring the restaurant The New Times says has the best grilled cheese sandwich.
O.H.S.O's Grilled Cheese
1 Tablespoon butter
2 slices white bread (or sourdough)
2 slices Fontina Cheese (Fontina is a cow's milk Italian cheese with a nutty, creamy flavor)
1 slice Red Dragon Cheese (Red Dragon is a welsh cheddar with wholegrain mustard seeds and welsh ale.)
2 slices Applewood Smoked bacon
3 slices Roma Tomato
Simmer butter in a sauté pan on low heat. Place first slice of bread in the pan, then layer the ingredients on top as follows: Fontina, Red Dragon, bacon, Tomato, Fontina and bread. Toast the first side for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Flip the sandwich over for an additional 5-7 minutes. Once the cheese is nice and melted your grilled cheese is ready. Best enjoyed with a bowl of hot tomato soup.
