New year, new you.  The number one new year's resolution is losing weight and an important element to eating better is portion control.

Cheyenne Autumn, Regional Dir. of Health Strategies for UnitedHealthcare shows us how to use household items to portion meals.

A computer mouse/spaghetti: 
½ cup pasta
Checkbook/fish: 3 oz. of cooked fish
Tennis ball/orange: 1 medium fruit
Light bulb/broccoli: 1 cup vegetables
CD/pancake: 
1 oz. of grains
Golf Ball/brown:      
1 T. peanut butter
Small Yo Yo/cookie: 
Desert portion
One Dice:
1 tsp. margarine/butter
2 Dominos/cheese colored: 1 oz. of cheese
Deck of cards/meat: 
3 oz. of cooked lean meat
