Four fire departments battled a fire that burned for several hours near 149th Street and Dixileta Drive Tuesday morning.
The fire started at 2:30 a.m. and authorities say the fire began in the attic and spread into the house.
Everyone that was inside the home was able to get out safely.
Authorities say there was a concern about the home's garage due to ammunition being inside of it, however that part of the garage did not burn. The amount of ammunition was not disclosed.
One firefighter injured his knew when he slipped on ice that was near the home. He was transported to Scottsdale Healthcare and there's no word on his condition.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
