A SEPTA train engineer was taken to the hospital Saturday after a rock that was thrown broke through the window of a train.
A SEPTA spokesman tells FOX 29 the engineer was injured as the train approached the area of 33rd and Girard.
The engineer was operating the Trenton Regional Rail line when the rock was thrown.
SEPTA says the rock broke through the train window and hit the engineer. The engineer was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for minor injures.
SEPTA says it is investigating the incident.
The westbound lanes of the Atlantic City Expressway were closed for several hours on Sunday after a single vehicle accident sent several people to the hospital.
