Buckhead preschool holds Falcons pep rally

ATLANTA -

Falcons fans of all ages are showing their team spirit as the Dirty Birds prepare to take on the Seattle Seahawks at the Georgia Dome on Sunday.

Some preschool students at Buckhead Preparatory School held a pep rally on Friday.

The kids cheered, held up signs, wore Falcons colors, jerseys and cheerleader outfits. One boy even had the Falcons tattooed on both his hands.

Buckhead Preparatory Preschool has a real connection with the Falcons. Two of the students are the children of a current player while one is the grandchild of a former.

"A lot of them watched football on Sunday and come back on Monday and said, "I saw my friend's dad on TV,'" said Kristen Patterson, a teacher at the school.

One shy fan sporting an Eli Manning New York Giants jersey wasn't giving into the Falcons frenzy.

"Because they won the Super Bowl last year," said the youngster.

But for most of the 4-year-olds, the Falcons are on the road to the Super Bowl.

Buckhead Prep was voted best preschool in Atlanta by parentsconnect.com.
