The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a freeze warning from midnight Saturday to 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.
A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will destroy or damage crops and other sensitive plants.
Exposed water pipes are also in danger of freezing.
Corey McCloskey and Steve Krafft have the latest on preparations for what will be a record breaking cold weekend.
