1 Dead After Car Hits Tree In South Jersey

MULLICA HILL, N.J. -

One person died when a car hit a tree in Mullica Hill Wednesday night.

According to police, the accident happened just before 6 p.m. on the 400 block of Richwood Road.

The area around where the car hit the tree was still blocked off to traffic as of 7:30 p.m.

Emergency responders say there were no other injuries reported.

It's not yet clear what caused the accident.
