Police say a suspect robbed a bank with a AR-15 style rifle on Saturday.
The suspect allegedly walked into a Bank of the West near Van Buren Street and 95th Avenue.
According to officers, the suspect walked up to a teller station carrying a rifle and demanded money. The teller gave the man a known amount of cash.
As the suspect was leaving, police say he walked up to an employee and fired a round of shots into the ceiling without warning.
The man immediately fled the bank.
Police believe this suspect is also responsible for the robbery of a Bank of America on November 29, 2012, at 8075 N. Hayden Road in Scottsdale.
The suspect is described as an unknown race male, unknown age, 5'10" tall, thin build 140 lbs, wearing a face mask, a bandana covering his neck area, a grey sweatshirt with a hoodie, grey sweatpants and was carrying a red backpack.
