Video: Polar bear attacks photojournalist

A video of a photojournalist studying polar bears goes viral!

While working, he was spotted by a very curious bear and you won't want to miss what happens next -- the terrifying moment was caught on video.

Gordon Buchanan traveled to the Arctic and tracked the bear for a television special over three season.

While he was inside a special protective cage, Buchanan said the bear tried to break through for 45 minutes -- and the only thing separating him from life and death was a glass slab.

Buchanan adds that the polar bear is one of the most powerful animals on the planet and one of the few animals that see humans as food.
