Police Find 8 Pounds Of Marijuana Inside Philly Home

PHILADELPHIA -
Charges were filed against two men by the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office Monday after police discovered several pounds of marijuana inside of a home over the weekend.
Police were responding to a burglary call on east Sedgley Avenue Sunday when they found the door of a home open with bolt cutters lying on the ground.
The District Attorney's Office says officers immediately noticed the smell of marijuana.
Once inside, police say they found eight pounds of bulk marijuana, more than a dozen marijuana plants along with headlamps, generators, electrical cords and light bulbs.
The DA's office says 22-year-old Marcus Rolon faces Possession With Intent to Distribute and other related charges. Carlos Rodriguez, 39, also faces Possession With Intent to Distribute and other charges, the DA's office said.

Rain moved in Saturday afternoon and the chance for it will stick around through the seven day forecast.
It becomes very unsettled across our area with clounds and showers again Sunday. The best chance for rain is in the morning and afternoon thunderstorms are possible towards our south.
Sunday is cool but we do warm up well into the 80s by Tuesday. With the warm weather comes a better chance for thunderstorms.
