Man steals $1.29 Honey Bun; pays $1K to get out of jail

Most of us get a little sweet tooth every now and then, right?

Well, one man's sweet tooth is costing him a lot more than price tag on the package and it's all over a Honey Bun.

A man in Florida sure does like them, so much so, he tried to steal one by stuffing it down his pants.

18-year-old Brandon Phillips got caught and ended up in jail. He was arrested for theft for taking the Honey Bun from a 7-Eleven store.

And to get out of jail, he had to post $1,000 bond.

So 10 percent of that bond is $100.  How much did the Honey Bun cost? $1.29.
