PHILADELPHIA -

Even if you're not suffering through it yourself, chances are you have a relative, friend or coworker who's fighting the flu.

The 2012-13 flu season started early and has since become widespread and deadly, even among children.

Staff at an urgent care center in Chester County tells FOX 29 they've seen twice the patients they normally do at this time of the year.

As of December 29, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirms more than 200 people in Pennsylvania were hospitalized for the flu before the January and February peak of the flu season.

According to the CDC, the flu is now considered to be "widespread" in Pennsylvania.

To the right of this story, we've listed several links to help you fight the flu, get more information and even find a flu clinic near you.
