'Fiscal Cliff,' 'Trending,' 'YOLO' Among List Of Banished Words For 2013

"Fiscal cliff," "YOLO" and "spoiler alert" were among the list of words to be banished next year in an annual survey compiled by Lake Superior State University in Michigan.

The list includes everything from "trending" to "bucket list" and "superfood."

Organizers say the university accepts nominations for its banished words list throughout the year.

LSSU is even taking nominations for 2014.
