An 170-year-old Italian family circus is setting up the big top in Chandler on Wednesday.
The Zoppè Italian Family Circus returns to Arizona for the fourth year to perform 16 shows.
The family circus uses music, acrobatics, dance and one-of-a-kind tricks to dazzle audiences worldwide.
Napoleone and Ermengilda Zoppé founded Circo Zoppé near Venice, Italy in 1842. After seven generations, the same family continues to perform a traditional European one-ring circus.
Shows start on Wednesday and run through Jan. 5. Ticket prices range between $15 to $38.
