PHOENIX -
Volunteers at St. Vincent de Paul are preparing Christmas holiday meals for about 3,200 people.
The organization is preparing glazed ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, creamed green beans and assorted pastries for dessert on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
It will take 1,100 pounds of ham and 708 cans of green beans to serve all of the visitors SVdP expects.
Santa Claus, toys for children and backpacks for the homeless will also be at the event.
Plus, retired NFL personalities like Nick Lowery and Ray Perkins will stop by to meet the visitors and sign autographs.
