A Consumer Reports poll found 17 million Americans plan to shop on Christmas Eve, are you one of them?
The holidays are a time for food, fun and procrastination. In fact, 14 percent of people will start their shopping on Christmas Eve.
So far, shoppers have spent an average of $340 on Christmas presents.
What are these last minute shoppers buying? Sixty-two percent said they'll most likely grab a gift card, 27 percent give cash, 15 percent will buy a bottle of wine or liquor and 4 percent would consider handing out an IOU for a present.
Many people like to wait until the last minute because, they say, the best deals are on Dec. 24.
