GLENDALE, Ariz. -
A local food bank ended its holiday giving season by handing out food to be used for Christmas dinners around the valley.
St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance its annual Christmas Eve food distribution on Monday at Abundant Life Church, near 63rd Avenue and Indian School Road.
Employees, volunteers and members of the Board of Directors handed out fruits, vegetables, breads, pastries, bottled drinks and other food items to hundreds of families.
Abundant Life is a St. Mary's mobile pantry site each month and hosted this special holiday distribution for church families and those in the need in the community.
