It's the time of the year when the entire family will be together sharing memorable moments. Sometimes capturing those moments on camera don't go as planned.

Good Day Atlanta's Joanne Feldman spoke with expert Deana Levine who had some advice on how to take your holiday pictures.

Tips:

1. Practice using a timer
2. Use a tripod
3. Have subjects wear fun wear, such as pajamas and hats - just have fun
4. For smaller children, place a teddy bear on a tripod so they can focus
5. Use the Christmas tree or staircase as backdrop for picture
