Police are investigating a shooting that took place outside a mall in south DeKalb County on Friday night.
The incident occurred in front of the Susan Wig store at the mall on Candler Road.
Police would only confirm that they responding to reports of a shooting. Mall employees told FOX 5's Kaitlyn Pratt that someone was shot after an attempted carjacking.
Witnesses said that those involved ran through the mall.
Authorities were seen on the ground and in the air, apparently searching for suspects.
At least one person was taken away in an ambulance, witnesses said.
