Jack CuloliasA body found in the Salt River behind Tempe Marketplace is that of missing ASU student Jack Culolias, authorities have confirmed.
The medical examiner positively identified the victim on Wednesday, according to Mike Molzhon from the medical examiner's office.
A private search group on Sunday spotted a body floating in the river near where one of the 19-year-old's shoes was found about two weeks ago.
The body pulled from the water was wearing a single red shoe.
Culolias was last seen Nov. 30 after being kicked out of Tempe bar Cadillac Ranch during a fraternity party and police say the freshman was suspected of being drunk. He left his wallet behind, which contained a fake ID.
Jack's twin brother, of California, said earlier this week on Facebook, "I am going to miss my other half but I'm glad that you're up there with Dad right now, say hi for me."
