Rescued Sandy Pets Reunite With Owners

JACKSON TWP., N.J. -

When Hurricane Sandy forced people to evacuate, many were separated from their animals.

But volunteers with the International Fund for Animal Welfare rescued pets left behind and reunited some with their owners.

For those residents who still don't have a home, the pets stay for free at Seer Farms in Ocean County.

Ninety percent of the animals are reunited with their owners while the other 10 percent are in the process of being adopted.

Fox's Brenda Flanagan has more on the emotional reunions in this video report.
