Valley veterans are invited to a special job event with over 25 prospective employers on Thursday morning.
Mayor Greg Stanton and Vice Mayor Michael Johnson organized a H.E.R.O. initiative job fair, exclusive to veterans at 8 a.m. The industries focus on logistics and advanced business services.
Veterans are recommended to RSVP at jobs.4.heroes@phoenix.gov or by calling 602-262-6528.
The second part of the job fair is open to anyone looking for a job. It runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 80 employers will be there, including Aerotek, Bank of America, Boeing and Banner Health.
