A Glendale woman is heartbroken after a thief broke into her garage and stole some family heirlooms. Now, she's begging the thief to return them.
Angela Jones Felix's garage door stands out in her Glendale neighborhood. The family had no choice but to replace it after thieves cut through it.
"I have obviously suspicions of someone who has knowledge, the tools, knew what was inside, probably watched me put my Christmas lights up," says Felix.
They took a lot of stuff out of Felix's garage. Most of it can be replaced -- except her dad's beloved guitars.
"He took care of everyone, he was that guy. He would change your tire in a rain storm and just want a thank you. All he ever wanted were his guitars."
This is a picture of Felix's father playing the guitar. He had a stroke, he lost his job, and his house. To keep them safe she put them in the garage.
"The most heartbreaking is my dad's guitars, that's what was giving him hope."
Hope that he will play again, and teach his grand kids how to play his guitars. Four were stolen. Someone cut into the garage to get inside and steal the guitars.
"I noticed my garage door was up and half of my belongings are out on the driveway."
She has a message for the thief: "You stole hope from a family."
The two guitars her father loves are his Fender and his Gibson Les Paul Studio model. She's hoping the thief returns them.
