Pedestrian hit by truck, killed in Phoenix

A pedestrian was killed Tuesday night when she was hit by a truck.

It happened near 43rd Ave and McDowell.

The victim is an adult female and was pronounced dead at the scene, said Phoenix Police Sgt. Trent Crump.

The driver stayed at the scene, and at this point, it's unclear what happened.
