An annual list of the slowest and least reliable bus routes in New York City is out with the M42, M66 and M4 receiving 'top honors.'

The report, released by the Straphangers Campaign on Tuesday, found that at 3.9 mph, the 2012 Pokey winners for slowest bus line -- M42 and M66 - were faster than last year's winner, the M50 at 3.5 mph.

"The bus routes are excruciatingly slow. If the M66 were in a race with an amusement  park bumper car it would lose and be a lot less fun," said spokesperson Gene Russianoff.

The Schleppie Award for least reliable bus line went to the M4 route which was behind schedule more than 28 percent of the time.

Also receiving attention by the organization were the slowest routes outside Manhattan including the B35 LTD, BX19,  Q58, and S48; and the least reliable in the outer boroughs including the B15, the BX41 and S78.
