Chimney fire dangers

In some areas of the valley Tuesday morning, temperatures were in the 30s and 40s.

A lot of people are using their fireplaces for the first time this winter, but before you stoke up the flames, you may want to take some precautions.

On Monday, a family was displaced after a chimney fire spread through their home near McQueen and Warner Road.  Crews were able to put the fire out, but there was too much damage.
