Hanukkah begins Saturday night at sundown and Chicago's first Jewish mayor will light the menorah at Daley Plaza for the holiday, this year.
Mayor Emanuel will light the electric menorah on Monday, the third night of Hanukkah. The thirty-foot menorah is a replica of the one they have at the white house.
The mayor already flipped the switch on the Daley Plaza Christmas tree.
