American Indian market brings art, food and culture

An American Indian market is bringing together art, food and culture at the Pueblo Grande Museum this weekend.

At the 36th Annual Pueblo Grande Museum Indian Market, visitors can see paintings, sculptures, jewelry and baskets from top American Indian artists.

Attendees can get in on the American Indian culture with a variety of music and dance performances, artist demonstrations and traditional American Indian foods.

The market is supported by the Pueblo Grande Museum Auxiliary, a non-profit organization passionate about preserving the history of the ancient Hohokam people who once inhabited Central and Southern Arizona.

There is a $5 admission for adults, free admission for children under 12.
