Carefree hosts a weekend full of holiday events to get you in the Christmas spirit.
The 5th Annual carefree Christmas Festival promises to turn the valley into a winter wonderland. They'll have a kid's zone with a snow slide and 30 tons of real snow.
The festival will have an electric light parade, fireworks, live music, a live nativity scene and a holiday gift and food marketplace.
On Saturday, the light parade starts at 6 p.m. and the fireworks start at 8 p.m.
There will be a pet parade takes place on Sunday morning and afterward, visitors can adopt a pet from the Foothills Animal Rescue.
