Woodstock police are warning people, especially the elderly, to be wary of a roaming band of burglars.
Officers describe the crew as Hispanic males targeting seniors operating a bogus tree cutting service.
Police say their method of operation is to accompany a homeowner to the backyard as a diversionary tactic while another suspect burglarizes the home.
Authorities believe it could be the same thieves who recently approached elderly Alpharetta and Cobb County residents. They are believed to be driving a tan or red pick-up truck.
