HULL, Ga. (AP) - A sheriff's deputy says authorities are looking at all possibilities about how two severed dog heads were left on a family's porch in northeast Georgia.
Madison County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Shawn Burns says that includes the possibility that another animal brought the heads to the house.
Officials say the severed heads were left on steps leading to the porch Nov. 23 and 24 in Hull, about eight miles northeast of Athens.
The Athens Banner-Herald (http://bit.ly/11zeJCS ) reports that People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is offering $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of those involved.
