They say you're never too old to find love, and now, that may be true online as well. AARP announced earlier this week that they're launching HowAboutWe, an AARP dating website aimed at singles who are over 50 and looking to get back into the dating scene.
The site offers tools, resources, and dating advice from experts. AARP says more and more singles who are 50+ are using online dating, so the goal is to give them a comfortable environment to meet people.
After they create a profile on AARP Dating, members say, "How about we..." and post an idea for a date they'd like to go on. Then, other members can browse their dating ideas and message the ones they're interested in. Co-founder and co-CEO Brian Schecter says the site is designed to get people offline and send them on real dates.
