3,000 people work up appetite at Turkey Day 5K

Participants in a Thanksgiving 5K race can eat the turkey and all the trimmings without the guilt.

The Life Time Turkey Day 5k had 3,000 people run, jog or walk 3.1 miles on Thursday morning.

The fitness club has put on the race since 1989.

Participants started at Wesley Bolin Plaza, continued into downtown Phoenix and had a view of the State Capitol as they crossed the finish line.
