PHILADELPHIA -

SEPTA officials say several buses that normally operate on the route of the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade will be detoured as early as Wednesday night through Thursday.

The parade route includes areas along JFK Boulevard and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

SEPTA says detours are scheduled for routes 2, 7, 17, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 43, 44, 48, 124 and 125 along with Market-Frankford Line Night Owl buses.

Some of the detours are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Wednesday to accommodate the set up of the parade, while others are scheduled to begin at approximately 12:15 a.m. Thursday.

SEPTA says it has created a special section on its website that includes all of the parade detours.
