PHOENIX -
According to the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, nearly 25,000 people each year get injured while hanging Christmas lights.
The potential for injury is not stopping one valley man who is well underway building one of the most elaborate Christmas displays in the valley, near 44th Street and Camelback.
He is rushing to be ready for Thanksgiving.
We're talking 250,000 lights on display, and every year it gets bigger and better.
Lee Sepanek, otherwise known as "Christmas Lee," starts putting up his display at the beginning of October. FOX 10's Kelly Hessedal chatted with him just a few days before Thanksgiving, his "go date."
